Robin Duffy is a North Carolina State Licensed Massage & Bodywork Therapist (LMBT #12218) and a graduate of the Swedish Institute for Massage Therapy & Allied Health Sciences in New York where she received over 1000 hours of intensive training in both Western and Eastern massage therapy modalities.  She has worked in many venues including spas, hotels, chiropractic offices, gyms, and wellness centers with a variety of clients — from Broadway performers to cancer patients to veterans suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.  In 2012, she left the upper west side of Manhattan where she had a private practice for 12 years to move back to her native NC.

Robin incorporates an integrative approach to therapeutic massage and bodywork by tailoring each session according to the client’s wellness goals.  Her therapeutic modalities include: Swedish, Deep Tissue/Trigger Point, Sports, Medical, and Shiatsu/Pressure Point Therapy - a form of acupressure which helps bring relief from a wide variety of health problems in order to restore balance and vitality to the body.  In addition, she has studied at the Touch Research Institute at the University of Miami and has received her Level I certification in Somatic Experiencing, a form of trauma touch therapy.

“I’ve worked with clients from all walks of life to achieve optimum health — whether it’s post-injury rehabilitation, pain-free movement, personal maintenance, or simply relaxing the body and quieting the mind.  I am passionate about what I do and look forward to helping you reach your wellness goals.”
